Prajjwala Challenge has been launched by the Ministry of Rural Development under the Deendayal Antyodaya Yojana - National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) with the objective of inviting ideas, solutions and actions that can transform the rural economy.
The mission emphasizes on exploring ideas and solutions with respect to innovative technology solutions, inclusive growth, value chain interventions, cost effective solutions and local models etc.
Under this, the selected ideas will be awarded Rs 2 lakh each, along with mentorship support from an expert panel and incubation support to scale up by the mission.
The Prajjwala Challenge will also be shared on the Manthan portal and BIMTECH- Atal Innovation Mission Portal for reaching out to larger number of applicants.
