  • In 1856, the skeletons of this primitive man were found in the valley of Neander in Germany, after which it was named Neanderthal man.
  • Its category division is done as a subspecies of humans, whose height was smaller than other human species.
  • Recent research has found that a particular gene in humans with long noses was inherited from Neanderthals.
