The Economic Survey presents the current state of the Indian economy, which is usually presented in the Parliament by the Finance Ministry a day before the Union Budget. It reviews the economic development of the previous year and presents the economic outlook for the current financial year. The budget is a tool for managing the country's financial resources, which contains details of the government's income and expenditure for the current financial year. There is a trend of asking a large number of questions from here directly and indirectly in the examination.
