On January 23, 2024, the Indian Air Force, French Air and Space Force and UAE Air Force participated in the Desert Night exercise.
It was organized over the Arabian Sea.
The main objective of this exercise is to increase coordination and interoperability between the air forces of the three countries.
Rafale fighter aircraft and a multi-role tanker transport aircraft took part in this exercise from the French side, while F-16 fighter aircraft took part from the UAE Air Force.
Sukhoi-30 MKI, MiG-29, Jaguar and air-to-air refueling aircraft of the Indian Air Force were included.
