Mana village -Sanskriti IAS

Mana village, located in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district shares a border with China.
Mana is situated on the banks of Saraswati River at an altitude of about 3219 meters above sea level.
Majority of the population of this village belongs to the Bhotia tribal community who belong to the Mongol race.
The Border Roads Organization has included this border village in the 'Vibrant Village' scheme and declared it as the First Indian Village.
