  • Buenos Aires City Government Chief George Macri presented this key to PM Modi.
  • It is a symbol of trust, respect and friendship.
  • The Ministry of External Affairs described it as a symbol of Modi's decisive role in India-Argentina relations.

  • PM Modi offered flowers to the statues of Mahatma Gandhi and Rabindranath Tagore in Buenos Aires.
  • He said that Gandhi's message of peace and non-violence will continue to inspire the world.
  • Modi also paid tribute to General Jose de San Martin at Plaza San Martin.
