  • The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released an official corrigendum for the Integrated 72nd Combined (Preliminary) Competitive Examination 2026 regarding the notification issued on 05 May 2026. As per the latest update, 44 vacancies of Cane Officer under the Sugarcane Industry Department have been removed from the recruitment process.
  • These vacancies were earlier mentioned at Serial Number 11 in Table-1 of the official notification. BPSC clarified that, under the Bihar Sugarcane Development Rules 2025, these posts fall under the category of Assistant Director, Sugarcane Development and other equivalent posts.   • After this revision, the total number of vacancies has been reduced from 1230 to 1186 posts.
