Why in News ?
The Government of India is making serious efforts towards a drug-free India. In this sequence, Home Minister Amit Shah inaugurated the 2nd National Conference of Anti-Narcotics Task Force (ANTF) Chiefs in New Delhi on 16 September 2025. This two-day conference is an important platform to strengthen Prime Minister Narendra Modi's commitment to "Nasha Mukt Bharat" and prepare a concrete strategic roadmap.
