UP Lekhpal Syllabus 2026: The UPSSSC has released the notification for UP Lekhpal Recruitment 2025–26, announcing 7,994 vacancies. This is a major government job opportunity for candidates preparing for the UP Lekhpal exam.

UP Lekhpal Exam Pattern 2026 (Revised)

The UPSSSC Lekhpal Exam Pattern 2026 has been revised as per the latest notification. Now, the Paper will be divided into 3 parts as given below. Mathematics section has been removed from the exam pattern. The total duration of the exam will be 2 hours. Check the detailed exam pattern below.

• All questions will be multiple-choice (objective type).
• Each correct answer carries 1 mark.
• 0.25 mark will be deducted for every incorrect response (negative marking).

The General Hindi section consists of 10 MCQs for a total of 10 marks. The UP Lekhpal Hindi Syllabus includes the following subjects: 

• शासकीय, अर्द्धशासकीय, वैयक्तिक तथा व्यावसायिक समस्याओं के निराकरण हेतु सम्बन्धित को सम्बोधित पत्र, कार्यालय आदेश, अधिसूचना और परिपत्र सम्बन्धी प्रश्ना 
• वर्ण एवं ध्वनि विचार: उच्चारण, लेखन,स्वर, व्यंजन, मात्रा पहचान और प्रयोग, ध्वनियों का वर्गीकरणा 
• शब्द रचना : संघि एवं संधि विच्छेद, समास, उपसर्ग, प्रत्यया 
• शब्द प्रकार: (क)तत्सम, अर्द्धतत्सम, तद्धव, देशज, विदेशी। (ख) संज्ञा, सर्वनाम, विशेषण, क्रिया, अव्यय (क्रिया विशेषण, सम्बन्ध सूचक, विस्मयबोधक, निपात)। 
• शब्द ज्ञान: पर्यायवाची, विलोम, शब्द युग्मों का अर्थ भेद, वाक्यांश के लिएसार्थक शब्द, समश्रुत भिन्नार्थक शब्द, समानार्थी शब्द, उपयुक्त शब्द चयन, सम्बन्धवाची शब्दावली। 
• शब्द शुद्धि।
