About the ANTF Conference

• The conference is being organised by the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). Heads of ANTFs from 36 States and Union Territories, along with representatives of government departments and other stakeholders, will participate.
• The theme of the conference is “United Resolve, Shared Responsibility.”
• The conference will provide a platform to review the progress made on the targets assigned to State and UT ANTFs and discuss new strategies to tackle drug trafficking and substance abuse in India.

Key Focus Areas

The discussions will focus on strengthening three major areas:

• Supply Reduction: Preventing the production, trafficking and distribution of drugs. 
• Demand Reduction: Preventing drug abuse through awareness, education, prevention and rehabilitation. 
• Harm Reduction: Reducing the health and social impact of substance abuse.

Vision Document on Narcotics Control 2026–2029

The conference will review the implementation of the Vision Document on Narcotics Control (2026–2029).

3. Demand and Harm Reduction 
4. Capacity Building and Coordination

Eight Technical Sessions

Eight technical sessions have been planned during the conference. These include:

• Control of precursors and synthetic drugs
