Bio-Hybrid Robot

  • Scientists at Israel's Tel Aviv University have developed a bio-hybrid robot.
  • Equipped with biosensors, this robot uses the antennae of locusts to improve advance disease diagnosis and security checks.
  • Through machine learning, this robot will be able to differentiate between different types of odours and locate its location.
  • Bio-hybrid robots consist of biological and artificial components such as electronics and mechanics.
