• Is a statutory organization formed under the Coffee Act, 1942.
• Functions under the administrative control of the Ministry of Commerce and Industry.
• The Board consists of 33 members including the Chairman.
• There is Central Coffee Research Institute at Balehonnur (Karnataka).

In discussion- The 5th World Coffee Conference was organized in Bengaluru in India in collaboration with the International Coffee Organization and the Coffee Board of India.
