- The Easter Islands are located in the South-East Pacific Ocean. The island is formed by three extinct volcanoes Poike, Rano Kau and Terevka.

- Recently, scientists have discovered stone age human figurines 'moai' in Easter Island, which were carved by natives called Rapa Nui.
