- The Prime Minister inaugurated it on 6 January 2024 in Goa during the India Energy Week-2024.
- Its objective is to bring the Indian Maritime Survival Training System at par with global standards.
- It will increase marine survival skills and chances of safe survival from disasters.
- This training center has been developed by ONGC.
