- Kui is a south-eastern Dravidian language spoken mainly by the Kandha community of Odisha.
- Written in Oriya script, this language is closely related to Gondi and Kuvi languages.
- In historical times, the Kui language was also known as the Kuinga language. Its speakers in the country are more than 7 lakhs.
