Mana village

  • Mana village, located in Uttarakhand's Chamoli district shares a border with China.
  • Mana is situated on the banks of Saraswati River at an altitude of about 3219 meters above sea level.
  • Majority of the population of this village belongs to the Bhotia tribal community who belong to the Mongol race.
  • The Border Roads Organization has included this border village in the 'Vibrant Village' scheme and declared it as the First Indian Village.
