Namo Bharat’ train

  • Prime Minister inaugurated the first high-speed Namo Bharat train.
  • 17 km long primary section will be commissioned in this phase.
  • The total length of this corridor from Delhi to Meerut is 82 km.
  • The route will extend from Sarai Kale Khan station in Delhi to Modipuram in Meerut.
  • The speed of this train will be 160 km/hour.
  • Its foundation stone was laid on March 8, 2019.
