The Ministry of Education has launched 'Padhe Bharat', a 100 day reading campaign. The campaign is in line with the National Policy on Education 2020.
The campaign emphasizes on promoting and engaging reading culture by ensuring availability of age appropriate reading books in local/mother tongue/regional/tribal language.
This is being organized for 100 days from January 1st to 10th April, this year. Under this, the focus will be on children from Balvatika (KG) to class 8.
It is also aligned with the vision and goals of the Basic Literacy and Numerology Mission.
