Parker Solar Probe-Sanskriti IAS

In the year of 2018, NASA had launched a spacecraft named 'Parker Solar Probe' to study the outer layer of the Sun's atmosphere (corona).
This mission is part of NASA's 'Living with a Star' program. This is the first human effort to reach a star. For the first time NASA has named a spacecraft on the name of a living scientist (Newman Parker).
This spacecraft launched to study about the solar winds emanating from the Sun, its magnetic field and their effects on the Earth's atmosphere. It is known that solar winds affect the Earth's magnetic field and its telecommunication system.
This spacecraft entered the Sun's corona in April 2021, since then it has been doing research work continuously.
