Project Arunank is being carried out by Tata Steel and Border Road Organization in collaboration with Central Road Research Institute.
It aims to holistically address the challenge of better connectivity in remote areas of Arunachal Pradesh and promote socio-environmental development in the state.
Under this, roads will be constructed using processed steel slag aggregate in the border areas of Arunachal Pradesh.
This includes the strategic areas bordering China, Huri-Tapa, Tap-Goying, Tapa-Karu, Sarli-Semai, Sarli-Phulle and Nacho-Bangte.
