The Government of Goa organized the first ever Purple Fest to showcase the achievements of persons with disabilities and raise awareness about their inclusion in the society.
It aims to improve access to various schemes and programs for persons with disabilities and focus on innovations and action plans in the relevant field.
It included live performances by Divyang artistes, blind cricket, Para-TT Championship and accessible tourism activities like beach visits, cruise rides.
