‘Red Flag 24’ Military exercise

  • The Indian Air Force participated in this military exercise being held in Alaska.
  • This exercise will start from 30 May and will run till 14 June 2024.
  • Its objective is to integrate airmen in a multinational environment.
  • The Indian Air Force deployed Rafale aircraft in this exercise.
  • Its organization was started in the year 1975 by the United States Air Force after the Vietnam War.
  • This exercise was initially known as Cope Thunder.
