Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana – Remunerative Approaches for Agriculture and Allied Sectors Rejuvenation

RKVY-RAFTAAR aims to strengthen infrastructure in agriculture and allied sectors.
The main objective of the Rashtriya Krishi Vikas Yojana is to develop agriculture as the main source of economic activity.
In this scheme, autonomy and flexibility will be provided to all the states in agriculture planning according to their local needs.
The scheme also includes risk mitigation of farmers by focusing on increasing income through mushroom cultivation, integrated farming, floriculture etc.
In this scheme various skill development, Agri-innovation and agri-business models will be started to attract youth towards the agriculture sector. The scheme includes two startups scheme- Ankuran and Prasfutan.
