Sela Tunnel

  •  Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated this tunnel in Arunachal Pradesh.
  • It connects Tezpur (Assam) to Tawang (Arunachal Pradesh) near the Line of Actual Control with China.
  • It is the longest double-lane tunnel in the world.
  • The total length of the tunnel is 11.84 kilometers.
  • This tunnel is situated at an altitude of 13,000 feet.
  • Its foundation stone was laid on February 9, 2019.
