Self Service Baggage Drop Facility

  • It has been introduced by Delhi International Airport Limited.
  • Delhi Airport became the first airport in India to implement it.
  • 50 units have been installed in Terminal 1 and 3.
  • It is available for Air India, Indigo and Air India Express passengers.
  • In this, passengers have to scan their boarding pass or face with a biometric camera.
    • After this they can place their luggage on the conveyor belt.
  • In this, the baggage is checked automatically after verification is complete.
