- According to the Election Commission, it is not legally mandatory to make this data public.
- Form 17C:
- This form is mentioned in the Election Conduct Rules 1961.
- Its first part contains the following information-
- Number of eligible voters of the polling station
- Identification number of EVM
- Total number of votes recorded per EVM; etc.
- After voting, a copy of it is given to the polling agent.
- In its second part, along with the name of the candidate, there is information about the total votes received by him.
- It can be used in disputes related to election results.
