Yadagirigutta Temple

  • The Yadagirigutta temple located on the Yadagiri hill in Nalgonda district of Telangana is dedicated to an incarnation of Lord Vishnu Narasimha Swamy.
  • Five forms of Lord Vishnu Sri Jwalanarasimha, Sri Yogananda, Srigandabherund, Sri Ugra and Sri Lakshminarasimha are worshiped in this temple.
  • The origin of this temple is mentioned in Skanda Purana. The aradhanam and worship in this temple is performed according to the 'Pancharatra Agama'.
  • This temple has been awarded the International Green Apple Award for excellent religious structure.
