UPSSSC Lower PCS Main New Exam Pattern 2026

The UP Lower PCS examination conducted by the UPSSSC follows a multi-stage selection process. The exam pattern mainly includes the Mains Written Examination, as PET is only qualifying in nature.

  • All questions will be multiple choices
  • Each question carries 1 mark
  • Negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer
  • The exam duration is 2 hours (120 minutes)
  • There is no interview - final selection is based solely on this written exam
