- It uses a large constellation of thousands of small satellites in low Earth orbit (LEO). These satellites are very close to the Earth's surface, which significantly reduces latency compared to traditional geosynchronous satellites.
- The main advantage of Starlink is its high internet speed and low latency. This makes it suitable for online gaming, video conferencing, and other bandwidth-intensive activities.
- Apart from providing internet access for individuals and businesses in remote areas, Starlink is also being used for disaster relief and government applications.
- Starlink is constantly expanding the number of its satellites and coverage area.
