Recently, in a significant initiative regarding language policy in Kerala, the Left Democratic Front (LDF) government introduced the Malayalam Language Bill, 2025 in the Legislative Assembly.

PRAGATI (Pro-Active Governance and Timely Implementation) is an innovative and integrated digital platform of the Government of India developed for monitoring, reviewing, and resolving major government programs, projects, and public grievances.

The Central Government has begun taking concrete steps against digital arrest cases. These scams were depriving ordinary citizens, especially the elderly and vulnerable, of their earnings. The Consumer Protection Act, 2019 came into force on 20 July 2020, replacing the Consumer Protection Act, 1986. India’s Malaria Elimination Technical Report, 2025 has flagged the growing threat of urban malaria, driven by the spread of the invasive mosquito Anopheles stephensi, which could undermine India’s goal of eliminating malaria by 2030, with an interim target of zero indigenous cases by 2027, aligned with the World Health Organisation (WHO) strategy.

NITI Aayog has released a report titled “Internationalisation of Higher Education in India: Prospects, Potential, and Policy Recommendations”, aligned with the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. The report comes soon after the introduction of the Viksit Bharat Shiksha Adhishthan Bill, 2025, aimed at reforming higher education regulation, and seeks to correct the sharp imbalance between outbound and inbound student mobility, positioning India as a global education and research hub.
