The Unique Identification Authority of India (UIDAI) has launched a new Aadhaar Face Authentication Software Development Kit (SDK) and a dedicated Sandbox at the Global Fintech Fest 2026.

The Tea Board of India, in collaboration with the National Remote Sensing Centre (NRSC) of ISRO and NIT Rourkela, has launched CHAAYANKAN, a research and development project to use Artificial Intelligence (AI) and geospatial technology for better monitoring of tea plantations.

The Union Government has notified the Legal Metrology (Indian Standard Time) Rules, 2026, making Indian Standard Time (IST) the common time reference for legal, administrative, commercial and other official purposes across India.

The Telecom Regulatory Authority of India (TRAI) has launched a revamped version of the "TRAI MyCall" mobile application to enable telecom consumers to assess and report their voice-calling experience in real time. 

The Ministry of Finance, through the Department of Expenditure, has introduced a "One Officer, One Official Car" policy to reduce unnecessary government expenditure, prevent misuse of official vehicles, and improve accountability in the use of public resources.

Recently, the ICMR-NIN-led 'Let's Fix Our Food' (LFOF) Consortium released a policy document titled 'Priority Policy Actions to Promote Healthier Diets and Food Environments for Children and Adolescents in India.' 

Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajan Lal Sharma has launched the Mukhyamantri Yuva Suyog Platform, a new digital initiative aimed at connecting young people with sports, skill development, employment opportunities, volunteering, and community engagement. The platform has been launched on a pilot basis in Bagru Assembly Constituency and Baran district.

The e-Shram Portal has crossed 31.78 crore registrations, reinforcing its position as India’s largest digital database of unorganised workers.  The platform plays a crucial role in extending social security, welfare benefits, and employment opportunities to workers in the informal sector.
