  • This check post has office, parking space, loading and unloading space, weighing system, warehouse and accommodation facilities for the officers working in the check post.
  • This check post has been developed by the Land Ports Authority.
  • According to the Indian Ministry of External Affairs, the trade between India and Bhutan was $1.6 billion in the year 2022-23. 
  • This is 73% of Bhutan's total trade. 
  • India exports petrol-diesel, passenger cars, rice, mobile phones, soybean oil, motor parts, electric generators, cargo vehicles etc. to Bhutan. 
  • India buys ferro-silicon, ferro silicon magnesium, cardamom, iron-steel products etc. from Bhutan.
